Abdullah Al Dhafeeri is the co-founder of Shighel.com, a platform that provides companies and business owners with all marketing services they need and connects them with freelance professionals like photographers, videographers, designers, and marketeers.
Abdullah Al Dhafeeri: I graduated from Oregon University with a business and financial management degree. I worked at a bank for about two years after graduation but decided to start my own business in 2018 because I wanted to do something that relates to what I studied in college. Another reason that pushed me was the fact that I didn’t like the restrictions and routine that came with being an employee. When you work at a traditional company, you’re expected to stick to certain hours, a dress code, and an already established way of doing things. Starting my own business meant that I could create the culture and environment I believe is best for myself and my team. At Shighel we focus more on our level of productivity and meeting our KPI’s than the number of hours spent in the office. Most of our team works remotely and with flexible hours.
Our goal is to make Shighel the best solution for business owners while also providing a platform for freelancers. What makes us standout is our project management system which saves a lot of time and effort and guarantees the right services for the right price. Our secure payment method guarantees that both the buyer and the service provider are satisfied. In the future, we hope to expand to fields beyond marketing and to become the first choice for business owners.

عبدالله الظفيري: تخرجت من جامعة أوريغون حاملًا شهادة بتخصص الآعمال والإدارة المالية. عملت بعدها كموظف في القطاع المصرفي لمدة سنتين ولكنني قررت أن أقوم بتأسيس شركتي الخاصة (مشروعي الخاص) في عام ٢٠١٨ إذ أردت أن أعمل في مجال يتعلق بالتخصص الذي درسته في الجامعة. وسبب آخر حفزني على اتخاذ هذه الخطوة هو أنني لطالما رفضت القيود والحياة النمطية المتكررة التي تأتي مع كوني موظف.
عندما تكون موظف في شركة تقليدية هناك بعض التوقعات التي لابد أن تلتزم بها كساعات عمل محددة، لباس معين، بإلإضافة إلى طريقة خاصة لأداء المهام (وغالبًا ما تكون غير قابلة للنقاش). تأسيس مشروعي الخاص يسمح لي بخلق البيئة والثقافة الملائمتين والأنسب لي ولفريق عملي.
